Co-Op Program

The goal of the Co-Op program is to provide a field working experience for the co-ops and give them an understanding of field construction and professional field management (foreman) practices.  The primary purpose is to introduce the co-ops to field construction through placement as skilled laborers with ongoing exposure and (ultimately) mentoring by trade-specific field foremen. It is expected that the co-ops will “hit the ground running” as a labor resource with active development following actual performance. The elements presented here are intended to provide general direction, but not a prescription, for co-op development.

Internship Program

The goal of the Internship Program is to provide a field/office working experience for the interns to provide them with a greater (but general) understanding of field construction, project/contract management and estimating.  For interns who intend to be Project Managers, the training emphasis will be on Project Management. The elements presented here are intended to provide general direction, but not a prescription, for Intern training. The actual experience is intended to be highly flexible and will vary depending on the individual being trained and our office/field workload during the internship.
